White Room: 02B3

You want a new and groovy movie experience? Look no further than Roddenberry Productions. Yep. THAT Roddenberry. Gene Roddenberry, Star Trek. duh! LOL White Room: 02B3 is pushing the final frontier, as it were, of filmmaking. The FIRST EVER movie filmed to be a full immersion 360 degree experience. Yowza! White Room: 02B3 was filmed via 9 cameras shot against a mirror. The 9 cameras capture a completely surrounded panoramic view of the action. It's like sitting in the middle of the action.

White Room: 02B3 was written by incomparable Tory Mell. Produced by Tory Mell and Kim Evey and directed by Greg Aronowitz. “Roddenberry has always been a pioneer in pushing the envelope, and broadening the scope of entertainment,” Greg Aronowitz says of the challenge. “They've given me an amazing opportunity to be one of the first directors to navigate the challenges of creating a 360 degree narrative film.”

“Because we follow in footsteps of a luminary like Gene Roddenberry, we recognize science fiction as a methodology via which we can explore the human condition from every potential angle,” says executive producer Rod Roddenberry of the project. “It, therefore, feels fitting that with White Room: 02B3, we are literally pushing cinematic boundaries by providing a 360 degree view of our characters and our story for audiences to experience and enjoy.”

This new experimental film stars Breckin Meyer, Tamlyn Tomita, David Blue, Rachel True, Tony Janning and Milynn Sarley, the cast of WHITE ROOM: 02B3 spans a wide range of talent who are thrilled to be a part of methodological and technological history. “They are all interacting through ground-breaking technology,” says Aronowitz. “It brings an exciting amount of energy to the project.”

Roddenberry Entertainment plan is to have it in film festivals in 2012 and then roll it out in the 700 dome theatres in the USA. Go round to http://whiteroom02b3.com/ and sign up for their mailing list.
