HUNG TEAMS UP WITH METALSUCKS FORAN EXCLUSIVE STREAM OF THE SELF-TITLE DEBUT HUNGOUT MAY 8TH 2012

(May7th 2012 New York, NY) - HUNG and Metalsucks.net have teamed up to stream HUNG’s self-titled debut in its entirety. The new debut record from HUNG is out tomorrow, May 8th 2012 courtesy of The End Records and Chris Adler from Lamb of God’s label ReThink Records.  The debut album features 10 brutally punishing and sonically aesthetic tracks engineered and produced by Andy Abeland and Lyris Hung at Abel Studios in Connecticut, with vocals tracked and produced by Ryan Kelly at MSR Studios and Nova Studios in New York City.

HUNG is a kick ass five piece "metal" band from New York City featuring Lyris Hung (Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Bryan Adams) on violin, ‘Evil’ Jon Clark on guitar,bassist Sam Roon, drummer Kenny Grohowski and singer Dmitry Kostitsyn. The band is fresh off their performance from the NewEngland Metal and Hardcore Festival as a main stage performer where they played to a packed out room.

Ishi: The Last Yahi

   Ishi (c1861 – March 25, 1916) was the last known member of the Native American Yahi people from the present-day state of California in the United States. The rest of the Yahi (as well as many members of their parent tribe, the Yana) were killed in the California genocide in the 19th century. Ishi, who was widely acclaimed as the "last wild Indian" in the United States, lived most of his life isolated from modern North American culture. In 1911, aged 50, he emerged at a barn and corral, 2 mi (3.2 km) from downtown Oroville, California. Ishi, which means "man" in the Yana language, is an adopted name. The anthropologist Alfred Kroeber gave him this name because, in the Yahi culture, tradition demanded that he not speak his own name until formally introduced by another Yahi.
